CILTNA presents CONCORDE UNIQUE – Supersonic Cabin Initiatives, a series of articles about supersonic commercial air travel, written by Jennifer Coutts Clay CMILT, formerly Controller of Corporate Identity at British Airways.
The 6th and final article in this series, entitled The Last Word, celebrates the unique achievements of the world’s first supersonic passenger jetliner. Those who flew Concorde still rhapsodize about the amazing experience: 10 miles up, moving faster than a rifle bullet, exquisite wining ‘n’ dining alongside A-List Names, accelerating to Mach 2 at the edge of space — with passing views of planet Earth! Even in this era of palatial, subsonic first-class cabins, who would not wish to re-live the glory days of Concorde?
