Design for Disruption: Designworks talks profound cabin change

The pandemic arguably represents the greatest disruption in airline history. ‘This year, because of COVID-19, we’ve all been disrupted at a personal level, and for the airline business, the situation is catastrophic. With borders closed, fleets grounded, and mass job cuts, the COVID-19 pandemic has created a spiral of economic misery,’ noted Jennifer Coutts Clay, author JETLINER CABINS. Coutts Clay recently discussed airline strategies for managing this unprecedented challenge with Johannes Lampela, Director of Design, at Designworks (a BMW Company) during a virtual Passenger Experience Conference (PEC) hosted by Reed Exhibitions.
