HIGHER CALLING
CILTNA newsletter marks the retirement of the Boeing 747 fleet by including the article ‘Higher Calling,’ written by Jennifer Coutts Clay CMILT, author of JETLINER CABINS.

This is the fifth and final article in Jennifer’s series of articles about B747 cabin innovations and the integral involvement of Pan American World Airways (Pan Am).

Dining in the Sky: Celebrating the ‘Queen of the Skies’ and Haute Cuisine during the Glory Days of flying. The stairway located in Zone A of the B747 conveyed an aura of mystery, and the Pan Am Upper Deck dining experience was one of the most talked-about events in air travel.
